About Eye Contact by Kathy

Dr. Martha (Molly) Santa Croce, O.D. grew up outside of Baltimore and has lived in the Binghamton area for 30 years.

She graduated with honors from Juniata College, class of '88, and Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1992.

Molly has been at Eye Contact by Kathy since the year 2000. She feels lucky to work with such smart, kind, and hardworking women. She enjoys caring for her patients' eyes and has been blessed to get to know them all over the years.

Dr. Santa Croce lives in Port Dickinson with her husband where they have raised 4 beautiful children and several pets.

Malisa is a local resident and a Johnson City High School graduate who is currently studying under the apprentice program to become a licensed optician in New York State.

Kathy Ferro Weiss has been a resident of Broome and Susquehanna County all of her life. Born and raised in Endicott, graduated from Maine Endwell High School, and completed training in Ophthalmic Dispensing at Erie Community's Ophthalmic Dispensing Program in 1974, Kathy is licensed by New York to fit contact lenses and eyeglasses. Kathy started her own business in 1978. Initially Specializing in difficult to fit prescriptions and eye conditions, she has expanded through the years to provide a complete service eye care center for exams, eyeglasses, contact lenses, treating certain medical infections, dry eyes, allergies, and referring when necessary to an eye physician who may specialize in certain diseases of the eyes.

Kathy and Donald Weiss are proud of our grown daughters, Helene and Lila, who have noteworthy lives all on their own merits.

Her mom Toni, long-time receptionist, decided to retire at the age of 81 to spend more time with her retired handyman husband Steve.

Tricia has been in the optical industry since 1980, and at Eye Contact by Kathy since 2000. An expert in her knowledge of frames and lenses, Tricia will help you to choose which glasses fit your face as well as your lifestyle best. Knowing the technology in designs for the thinnest lenses, the newest progressive, transitions, and anti-glare products is Tricia’s forte.
